SkyPark located on top of Sands is considered to be the largest cantilevered public observation deck in the world. The infinity pool which is 150 metres long and is said to be the largest outdoor infinity pool at a height of 200 metres above ground.
This amazing structure spanning over 20 hectares was designed by Moshe Safdie Architects and is owned by Las Vegas Sands Corp. Even though the official opening of Marina Bay Sands did take place in June 2010 the Grand opening was celebrated on the 17th February 2011. This also coincided with the opening of its ArtScience museum and seven celebrity chef restaurants. Hotel sources revealed that by the time the Grand opening took place over 11 million people have already visited this marvel resort in Singapore. This figure indicated how much it is admired by people all over the world. The day of the grand opening a spectacular light and water show titled ‘Wonder Full’ lit the entire marina bay with vibrant colours.
